Associate professor Adrian Barnett from Queensland University of Technology was invited by Umeå researchers within the area of climate change and health to lecture on Bayesian spatial statistical methods. The course participants were enabled with a larger toolbox of methods to use in spatial epidemiology, being very relevant in studies of climate change and health.
Climate change and health - research methods
Courses focusing on research methods was given in January 2010, June 2011 and 2012 at Umeå Centre for Global Health Research, Division of Epidemiology and Public Health Sciences, Umeå University, Umeå, Sweden. Participants were mainly research students from Africa, Asia and Europe.
